New services trial.. offering bespoke art frames and exhibition stands.

This weekend I have been thinking to offer a new line of services or products through Scales & Models building custom art frames, exhibition stands, plinths and baseboards for acrylic presentation cases. I can easily make any of the above to any size, shape and finish required... So in the next few weeks I will be promoting these services to Art galleries, students and artists in general as an attempt to expand the services that Scales & Models can provide to clients.

Architectural scale model – Facade study

Last week I made an architectural scale model of a facade study, which had to be made in just under a couple of days to be presented for a client meeting. It certainly was a quick and cost effective model which tells the whole story without imposing a high costs to the client. 1/200 scale.

Topsy Turvy!

The economical downturn is certainly rolling at a steady pace, only looking gloomier the further we glimpse ahead.

It's made me realise that it's time to become flexible and allow new sprouts to eventually bloom. Perhaps with a degree of commitment, empathy and generosity as 'plant food' it may be a good start to encourage a future healthy growth.

Art, models and all!

I have finally got the urge to keep going with my weblog, which I stopped a few years back. Instead of dedicating this to my university and professional work alone. I will use it for all creative outputs that are channeled through my own experiences.. Professionally as well as Personal.

This new approach could be to show current models that I'm working on professionally, showing working processes and tricks of the trade.. Perhaps in an attempt to educate people who may be interested to learn more about model making and art in general.

On a personal level I will be posting progress paintings that I have been doing in my spare time, share artistic concepts, ideas that constantly bogle my mind..

I'll be back soon.. :)
